The tail end of the bait can be bent to adjust the amount of water the blade will throw throughout the retrieve to create a very versatile topwater. For calm, pressured conditions bend the blade for a more subtle action, then when the wind picks up or you want a louder bait, simply bend again for a much more aggressive "plop".
